PM to attend ASEAN plus 3 meeting in Thailand

Phnom Penh, March 10: Prime Minister Hun Sen, deputy president of CPP, confirmed on Monday that he will participate in the ASEAN plus three (China, Japan, and South Korea) meeting in Thailand from April 10 to 12.

The meeting will be held in Thailand’s southern province of Phuket, the ten ASEAN member countries include Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia. The three East Asian nations include China, Japan and South Korea.

In his speech broadcast on TVK while he was telling a pagoda-opening ceremony in Kompong Speu province that he will leave Cambodia for Thailand from April 10 to 12 for the ASEAN plus Three meeting.

He added that he will come back as early as possible to celebrate the Khmer New Year which will fall on April 13 to 16 this year.
